The Powhatan Tennis teams have been working hard throughout the season. Both the guys and the girls have been playing their absolute best. The guys current record is 3-4 while the girls season record is 2-5.
The guys have defeated Monacan, L. C. Bird, and Manchester, while the girls have defeated L.C. Bird and Manchester. The records for this year are pretty close, and they still have matches to come. The best wins so far being 9-0 against Bird for the girls and 8-1 against Bird for the guys.
This includes a match, April 23 against Midlothian, and a match April 27th against James River, which could provide promise to the records. There is also a match against Atlee later in the season in which they don’t usually play.
