This months staff of the month is Mr.Hall. He graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor’s in History Education and attended New Kent High school. He teaches US VA history and APUSH in room 1030! He is the assistant baseball coach for the middle school, as well as the sponsor for diverse hands at work club here along with Rho Kappa at PHS. When asked what his favorites thing about teaching at PHS is, Mr.Hall expresses his love for telling history stories and seeing students grow as they learn. He was also asked what sparked his interest of being a teacher he says, “One day I was walking down the hallway of my high school when my mother asked me ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?’, I said a teacher, and my mom said no woman would ever want to marry you because you make no money.” However, being teacher is not only apart of him but his family too. Mr.Hall is a 5th generation public servant after multiple teachers, nurses, local politicians, and started with an Allied soldier in World War I. We appreciate all you do Mr.Hall!
