Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays to travel here in the United States. Many people go out of town to visit family and friends or just to take a break. A lot of families wonder where the best tourist destinations to visit.
One of the most sought out places to visit is New York City, as the Macy’s Day Parade is in full swing. Not only that, after Thanksgiving the city begins to transition into its Christmas season. On top of that, the city looks beautiful at night.
The second place is Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, due to Dollywood, The Island, and just that overall country feel in the area! Many like the mountains’ fall colors and the overall seclusion that being in the countryside gives. On top of that you have many things to do and good food to eat.
Many people also come here to Virginia, more specifically Williamsburg! Due to its rich history around the Thanksgiving holiday. Since Thanksgiving was a tradition started between the pilgrims and native Americans right here in Virginia. They also go and visit Jamestown and Busch Gardens as well!
Overall there are many great places to visit for Thanksgiving! Even looking at photos of these places can put you in the fall spirit! The beautiful leaves in these states attract many each year!
