Carlos Ray “Chuck” Norris, American actor, martial artist, and cultural icon passed away March 20, 2026, in Hawaii.
He was a martial arts champion who was a black belt in judo, third degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fifth degree black belt in Karate, eighth degree black belt in Taekwondo, ninth degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, and tenth degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do.
The Pop Culture icon appeared in movies such as “The Delta Force,” “Lone Wolf McQuade,” and “Firewalker,” as well as the all-star movie “Expendables 2.” His most well known role was on the long running television series, “Walker Texas Ranger,” which ran for eight seasons and over 200 episodes.
He survived by his wife, Gene O’Kelley, and five children Mike, Eric, Dina, and twins Dakota and Danilee.
