Another year, another Superbowl that has come and gone. This year marked the 60th anniversary of the Super Bowl as well as the 250th anniversary of the US Celebration. However, as always controversy follows, and there was one unofficial Superbowl halftime show hosted by Turning Point USA.

Turning Point USA has a history of being a right wing political platform, however their performance showcased Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, opposed to the Super Bowl’s choice of Bad Bunny. Both performances showed American values in their own way. 

Though, this gave viewers a choice of what to watch. If they wanted to listen to country music, they could, and if they wanted something new, they could listen to a new type of music. Giving viewers choice and something they can desire to listen to can be quite positive. 

While it wasn’t an official halftime show, it showed that viewers have a choice. Sometimes a choice is an amazing thing to have especially during times like these!
