Another Chinese balloon was spotted entering the U.S

“In the meteorology world, I haven’t found a person who has seen or heard of a weather balloon that looks like this.”

On Jan 28, a white balloon administered by China was spotted entering U.S. airspace. According to China, the balloon was allegedly there for meteorological purposes. However, over the years, a number of their balloons have been spotted in other parts of the world, such as South America, Europe, and Asia. The spotted balloon was roughly the size of 3 whole school buses.

The airship was first spotted just north of the Aleutian Islands and then made its way to Alaska. It then left U.S airspace and returned on Tuesday to Idaho. After traveling all that way, it was eventually shot down by an Air Force F-22 on Saturday off the coast of Myrtle beach, South Carolina.

In the eyes of some Republicans, Biden has become weak when it comes to China’s affairs. Even the preposterous theory that Biden is secretly working for the Chinese government came up. It’s controversial why he took so long to have the balloon shot down. The balloon traveled for 4 days across the United States. According to the Biden administration, they “did not want to take the risk of downing it over the American people” according to Heather Cox Richardson on her blog Letters from an American.

The supranationalist organization, NATO, has uncovered the surveillance program that China has launched to gather information from all around the world. Which, believe it or not, mostly has to do with ginormous balloons. With the news that has come to light, the U.S. has shared the uncovered knowledge with various countries already. This will hopefully make them more aware of the balloons and their true purpose. Aside from the USA over 40 other countries have reported seeing the balloons. China has currently breached the sovereignty of 5 continents and their countries.

Biden has stated many times how much he doesn’t want conflict or war to break out. But do other countries feel the same?
