Friday, November 3rd, a four way car wreck occurred on Cox Rd in Henrico, VA. A black midsize SUV was in a head-on collision with a work truck. Following, a black small car T-boned another white small car.
Civilian, Jessica Hancock, who was stuck in the midst of the traffic held up by the accident, ran to help.
Jessica was an ER Nurse for 13 years. Her experience and determination pushed her to get out and help. She was one of the first on the scene.
The woman in the black midsize SUV, was found unconscious as her vehicle started to engulf itself in flames.
Hancock pulled the woman, Natalie – mid 40s, out of her car and to safety. Paramedics and fire were alerted then arrived on scene.
When asked why she rushed to the scene, she responded, “If that was my mom, sister, etc, I would want anyone there to help if they had the experience.”
Natalie was transported to Henrico Doctors Forest. She is going to suffer from life threatening injuries. Others that were involved in the accident didn’t concur any injuries. Thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
