Every April, we celebrate the courage, perseverance and tenacity demonstrated by our military-connected children, youth and teens and what they mean to our community. In honor of this please wear the color purple on Wednesday, April 17 to show your support.
- April 15The PHS Plant Sale will be taking place this week, April 15-19 from 8-4, and Saturday April 20 from 9-12 in the school greenhouse. Come on out to support the Horticulture program and the FFA by buying plants! We only accept cash or check, and for any questions, contact Ms. Meinhard.
- April 15April 19 is the battle for the Mr.Powhatan 2024 title. Showtime begins at 7PM, tickets cost $5. All proceeds benefit Relay for Life and the fight against cancer.

- March 25Feeling Lucky with 26! The sophomore class has extended their raffle for a pot of gold containing various gift cards. Buy tickets at the Concession Stand in the mornings. 1 for $1, 5 for $3, or 10 for $5. Drawing will be held after Spring Break.

- February 26The VSBA Personal Essay/Speaking Contest is open to all Public High School students. The top finalist will receive a $1,000 Scholarship! The deadline is April 17th.
