Powhatan High School had their first Pep rally of the year on Friday, September 5th! The energy was high and peppy for the classes at Powhatan high school. Freshmen used their creative ability with unique race car posters, but the sophomores were loud and had a lot of school spirit. Don’t worry though! From the juniors we saw the effort, and their loud and quiet stick. We had our freshmen in yellow, sophomores in red, juniors in green, resembling a stop light. Also our seniors were black, white and checkered print for a race car flag. The pep rally theme was race car so the classes could race to first!
They hosted a inner tube stacking game which needed some speedy students. As well as a intense scooter race with a close finish. The senior class went against freshmen for games and won. They did an outstanding job and dominated sophomores in racing.
After a lot of yelling and cheering the seniors won! This was class of 26’ first ever win at a pep rally! Congratulations!
