A pizza driver had only gotten tipped 2 dollars in the harsh snowy weather, so people ended up raising thousands of dollars for the man. On January 11, Officer Craig was showing off his interaction with Connor Stephanoff on his TikTok page. Stephanoff was delivering a pizza during blizzard conditions in Brownsburg, Indiana, and Craig interviewed him about it.
The video started off by showing blizzardy conditions, and then the conversation runs down like so:
“You delivering a pizza, bro?” Officer Craig asks the driver. The pizza driver gives a small nod. “Did you get a good tip?” Craig asked Stephanoff.
“Two dollars,” Stephanoff replied.
“Are you kidding me? Man, cold-blooded! Two dollars! Look at this man! This man walked through hell and high water to deliver a pizza.”
Officer Craig ended up tipping 15 dollars to stephanoff, and the video went viral. The comment section filled with anger and concern for Stephanoff. It had been reported that it was completely unsafe out on the roads as well. Eventually a Go Fund Me was created for Stephanoff. After 3 weeks of the Go Fund Me being up, strangers came together to give the man over $41,000 by over 2000 donations. Stephanoff planned to buy a nice car soon and maybe put some of the cash towards college.
When asked about the blizzard conditions, the owner of the pizza place responded, “We didn’t force him to work or deliver.”
