Have you ever heard of the curse of Colonel Harland Sanders? Colonel Harland Sanders was the founder of KFC, and at the time, Hanshin Tigers (a Japanese baseball team) had been founded in 1935, and won the Japanese Series (similar to the World series). After that, they couldn’t win a singular game. Turns out, fans had thrown the statue of Colonel Harland Sanders into the river to celebrate the Hanshin which was later returned to a KFC restaurant. After that, the Hanshin Tigers had not won a singular championship or game since. Rumors were spread that all their failed attempts were due to the missing statue.
