The annual Mr. Powhatan is back again for another year. It will be held on April 18 at the high school. Mr. Powhatan is a competition that will put student against student for the ultimate title and award of Mr. Powhatan. This event is hosted by the PHS Leftovers club and the proceeds go towards the fight against cancer.
Powhatan male students sign up to compete. They compete in the beachwear, sport and activities wear, formal wear, and talent categories. They participate in dance numbers, showing off their talent, and showing off their best clothes.
The Leftovers club is still looking for a few more upperclassmen to sign up. Currently there are no seniors signed up. They need more Juniors and Seniors to fill up the competition.
If you are considering signing up, make sure you will be available for most or all of the following rehearsal times.

Male students are highly encouraged to sign up. It is a very fun experience and it is going toward a good cause. The link to sign up can be found on Schoology. And everyone in the school and community is strongly encouraged to attend.
