Shortly before 8:30pm on January 25th 2025, Officers with the Richmond Police Department had responded to a shooting call to the 100 block Greshamwood Place, when they arrived at the scene of the shooting they found the body of 52 year old Richmond resident, Darrell Mann on the motel floor, he was shot. He was shortly brought to the hosptial where he died in his hospital bed. Shortly after on March 19th the Richmond Police Department released a press statement stating that 35 year old Misty Swift was arrested as a suspect in the investigation.
According to the Richmond Police Department, Swift has been charged with the murder of Darrell Mann, the use of a firearm in the commision of a felony, and possessing a firearm as a violent weapon. Details in the investigation say that Mann and Swift knew each other and she probably had deeper reasons.
