Powhatan High School’s Powderpuff was held on March 7, and was a huge success. The first game was Freshman vs Sophomores, and was a close game. Sophomores had the lead most of the game until the last quarter and Freshman made a huge comeback taking the win. This was Powhatan’s first time hosting the Freshman vs Sophomores and it was a hit.
The Juniors vs Seniors game followed and it was an intense game. Even with the bitter cold the players and cheerleaders sure did deliver a good game. Seniors were the first to score and stayed in the lead the entire game. Juniors played hard getting many flags and catches. The class of 2025 took the win and defended their title as winners.
We cant wait to see what next year has to offer!
