Q: When coming into teaching, what did you expect? What was it really like for you?
A: I didn’t have expectations because I don’t teach one subject so I don’t make lesson plans. I didn’t expect the kids to be as open and I expected more hard headedness.
Q: What was your favorite year of teaching and why?
A: I’m only a year and a half into it so I’m still new to this.
Q: What is one of the craziest moments that stands out in your years of teaching?
A: We’re not gonna talk about that. But aside from that everything’s been tame.
Q: What is your favorite part of teaching and why?
A: Being around the kids, I find you tend to feel as young as the people around you.
Q: What is one piece of life advice you can give to your students for their future?
A: Enjoy what you’re doing now, you’re only really a teenager for 7 years and don’t rush through the time you have.
This is just a small insight into the character of Sean McConnell, as for now we can look forward to how he and his girls progress through their soccer season and all the wins that will follow.
