This Friday September 13th The Powhatan Indians have a home football game against Manchester. The theme for this Game is USA.

Prior to the game the school is hosting a pregame tailgate in honor of first responders and military/veterans. This is a community event and open to anyone to attend. It will be held at 5;30 at PHS in front of the school.

This event includes many things for everyone to participate in and is free entry. There will be music, face painting, games, as well as free hotdogs and hamburgers. Donations will be accepted to support the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. To learn more about their organization click the link above.

The game will be at 7pm and entry is free for first responders, active military as well as veterans (with proper ID). Come out to this event to honor those who we lost in 9/11  those still fighting for us. Remember to bring your families as well as little kids as this event is fun filled for everyone.
