Teachers Leaving Powhatan High School

Throughout our years in high school, we have made friendly bonds with many different teachers. Sadly, some of our favorite teachers and staff are saying goodbye to their students and fellow staff members.

Mrs. Kramer, the AP English Language and Composition, English 9 Honors, and Journalism teacher is switching to Goochland High School.

Mrs. McManus, an Art 1 and Ceramics teacher at Powhatan High School is switching over to Robious Middle School.

Mrs. Vaden, who works in the Clinic is retiring to take care of the animals on her farm.

Mr. Ownby a US History/AP and Honors teacher is switching to Huguenot High School.

Mrs. Monie, a part time counselor at Powhatan High School is leaving to move in with her husband in Portland Maine.

Miss McClure a math teacher is leaving Powhatan High to go to Midlothian Middle School.

Mrs Samuels is leaving to go to Code RVA for Math Computer Science.

There are so many of our teachers leaving after this year and we wish all the teachers a goodbye and thank you for making our years throughout high school amazing and memorable. We are grateful for everything you have done for us and wish you the best on your new journeys.
