Jimmy Kimmel hosted the Oscars on Sunday, March 10th at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. So many talented actors, actresses and musicians attended the event. Many talented people took home awards this night.
“Oppenheimer” had the most wins of the night, taking home seven awards. “Oppenheimer” won Best
Picture, Cinematography, Best Director, Christopher Nolan, Best Actor, Cillian Murphy, and Best Supporting Actor, Robert Downey Jr. The Movie also won awards for editing and original score.
“Poor Things” took home four awards with Emma Stone winning her second Oscar for Best Actress. “Poor Things” received awards for Production Design, Costume Design, Makeup and Hairstyling.
“Barbie”, having been nominated for eight awards, received only one for the song “What Was I Made For?” Ryan Gosling stole the show by performing “I’m Just Ken” while in a bedazzled pink suit.
Da’Vine Joy Randolph for her role in “ The Holdovers” won Best Supporting Actress. “Anatomy of a Fall” won for Original Screenplay. “American Fiction” won for Adapted Screenplay. “The Boy the Heron” won for Animated Feature.
The Award for Sound went to “ The Zone of Interest.” Visual Effects went to “Godzilla Minus One.”
“20 Days in Mariupol” took home the award for Documentary Feature.” Internal Feature went to “The Zone of Interest”. The award for Animated Short was given to “War is Over, inspired by the Music of John & Yoko.” Documentary Short went to “The Last Repair Shop”. Finally “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar” received the Live Action Short award.
