Saturday, February 25 SkillsUsa District 2 held the award ceremony for the winners of the contests. Powhatan High School Electricity students took home the medals for the Electrical Construction and Wiring contest. Coming in at seventh place PHS senior, Nathan Holt.  In fourth place was PHS sophomore; Mason Heckel, Electricity 1 student. Bronze was received by PHS sophomore, Landyn Llewellyn. In second place PHS junior, Jonathan Hunt. In first place PHS senior in Electricity 2, Eddie Slagle. PHS students will now have the opportunity to compete again at the state level, this April in Virginia Beach. Good luck state bound competitors!
